Disturbing gossip today that claims Britney’s dad is very busy behind the scenes trying to clean up her image by firing people, and that Britney is so out of it, she doesn’t even care, she just lives in her world.
For someone out if, she sure seems to hold it together pretty darn well to tour and cut music. I think all these rumors are starting because we are getting close to the end of the tour and possibly the conservatorship, so Jamie may just be making some final changes before he exits.
An insider told Fox News Poptart segment that Jamie is removing people behind the scenes in an effort to revamp Britney’s image both online and in real life. The story claims some people are afraid of getting the boot and it included online peeps? (britney.com, Britneyspears.com?)
The story says;
Britney Spears still doesn’t have custody of her kids, however Pop Tarts has been told the comeback kid of 2009 is still being remodeled and revamped into a sweeter starlet by her father and co-conservator, Jamie Spears.
“He’s really trying to clean up her image,” said an inside source. “He’s making a lot of changes to the people around her, everyone is a bit on edge they could be the next one to be replaced.”
We’re told daddy Spears and his team has been busy hiring and firing various people in the Spears camp from her tour assistant to one of her key online developers, and is possibly afraid of letting anybody get too close or learning too much about his troubled daughter.
“Britney’s family has seen what happens when she gets too close to outsiders and they lose control, they don’t want it happening again,” said the source.
But how does Britney apparently feel about all the changes?
“She is so out of it she just doesn’t care anymore,” added our insider. “She just does what she’s told and is totally in her world, she’ll even call people at all hours of night for a general conversation and acts like it’s the middle of the day or something.”
And you guessed it, a nameless source as usual. That carries no credibility at all!
Ummmm this sounds like good news to me. lol The quicker they get rid of these people the better (online team) they really are the worst she has had and are not professional in one bit if you ask me. They are a joke and she needs to not high people our age.
and of course she doesnt care, its just people in charge of her website. lol Now if it was Fe or even brett i would start to worry.

i’ve read a few days ago in another fansites that Britney dont want alcohol and drug consumers on her crew of the tour, so theyre applying anti-doping tests
Just popping in. Two cents? I wonder that the online developer is the guy they already got rid of? I think he works for Google now. He’s the guy that ran the ad at Yale or Harvard looking for candidates to staff the Twitter account?
His name came up again last February or so. I don’t know why but he was listed under expenses the attorneys were seeking from Eardley, Lutfi and Ghalib. I honestly thought that was a fluke. Or maybe I read it in the transcript from Apr. 4 with the judge saying and we still have to talk about that john doe matter. Sorry to be so general. I am on the fly but can’t resist my Britney news and others’ opinions.
I call bullshit…because just a few days ago we got some many POSITIVE quotes about Britney from the directors and everything saying that she’s eating sushi now…well yeah I know it’s not much…but at least they have a name!

No, felicia would not get replaced. She’s been with Britney since day one.
It’s hard to believe this. It seems overly blown out of proportion. We don’t know Britney. We need to listen to Madonna, as she was recently quoted saying that “We don’t know Britney”.
They have done a good job cleaning up her image, that’s for sure!
Who knows. But I am leaning a little towards that it’s somewhat fabricated.

Her comeback has already helped her image. For the last time Britney has had 50/50 custody for months & it was just extended. Can people not read?
I just went to BH website to see the spin he was putting on everything….very sad. I think Jamie is always looking out for Britney, anyone who has children would do the same thing. I think Madonna summed it up, comparing her to MJ. Never had a real childhood and I agree with PB that Lynne doesn’t know how to be a mom that gives advice, is there for her, etc. She probably just doesn’t know what to say or do and leaves it to Britney’s people to take care of her. I think Britney is probably very shy underneath her public appearance and all the attention really freaks her out.
This is an old story, these people were let go/fired back in Dec/Jan 08. Brit has come along way, but I seriously believe that nobody wants to give her any credit for anything, e.g. either Jaon has saved her because of love, or her Dad is controlling everything and she is a robot.
I think once the cship ends alot of people will be in for a surprise. I believe she will continue keeping a low profile, and just focus on herslef and her kids. I also think she and kfed will come to some sort of arrangment where she can have the kids and leave L.A. (I know you’re thinking that aint going to happen, but I believe it will, and wouldn’t be surprised if some sort of plans are already in effect.)But we will have to wait and see.
Brit is not the same person from 2007, she has learned the hard way what it’s like to be persecutted in the media, and to lose your kids. She will never want to go through anything like that again, and I have faith in her.
