According to reports today on DigitalSpy, Brit WILL have a new album next year. Thank God because I appreciate the SC but I want new. New as in not old. New as in, not remixed, new as in the opposite of me.
Britney Spears will release the follow-up to 2008’s Circus in late spring 2010, it has been confirmed. According to her record label Jive, the singer is working towards a May release for her seventh studio album. US songwriter Sean Garrett recently confirmed that he is penning material for the new record.
The 27-year-old is also expected to team up with Max Martin, who wrote previous hits including ‘…Baby One More Time’, ‘If U Seek Amy’ and current single ‘3′. Spears releases The Singles Collection on November 16.

I want BRITNEY to put her ALL into this album, and I want a new experience…so her being OUT of the conservatorship so we can be sure it’s ALL HER.
I’m not a Free Britney person, but for the music I think it’s important that she has no restraints.
Music wise I like Blackout > Circus, because I feel like Britney actually put her heart into it? No way to confirm that though. Maybe I just like Blackout better and I’m just being delusional thinking this.

I agree.. my first thought was that it might be too soon. She needs to a huge record that will blow everyone away. I thought we was going to take a break from everything? A new album mean a new tour…
She needs rest.
Maybe its Britneys idea for new music and maybe she wants to be on tour…. Everyone assumes its her camp pushing her but maybe this is all coming from her. No ones knows what happens behind closed doors people.
