American Idol winner Adam Lambert was recently chatting about musicians at an event where I guess he won glam idol of the year or some shit and when he was asked about the Britney Spears lip synching controversy in Australia he simply said
“They haven’t been watching her career for the past few years? That’s what she does.”
Was that a jab?
How is it that Britney has gotten away with lip syncing for sooo long and suddenly its the hottest news on the planet? All these months and months of touring to hundreds of thousands of people and now its a big deal.
In other MORE important news, Britney hung out with some kiddies from a local hospital backstage after her show.
I swear she began lip synching in her early days aswell :S

BB: Is lip-synching during a performance something a pop artist should be ashamed of? Or should audiences just know better going into a show?
AL: It depends on the type of performer you are. Some are known for their voices, and some are performers. I think Britney is a fantastic performer, I think she’s a lot of fun, and gorgeous. She’s dancing! And something when you’re dancing really hard, it’s hard to sing. She’s gotta do what she’s gotta do.
