Britney made a brief appearance at Club Maddox in London last night after her Circus show but she didn’t stay long, and she was surrounded by bodyguards and her TV agent, Jason Trawick.
She looked socially awkward to say the least. I mean what do you do @ a club when you dont drink and cant wander around freely? You look uncomfortable.
I think since she isnt doing the whole club scene or drinking/partying anymore, she feels very uncomfortable in that environment. I cant blame her, it would be awkward.
You know what worries me about her, is that outside of performing and being kept really busy, I’m afraid when the conservatorship is lifted that she may go right back to bad influences.
It’s a double edge sword having her structured but also worrying that she’ll go on the rails once she is free. Cant we just keep her surrounded by her family and guards forever?
And, no I dont think her and Jason are a couple. I think he’s a trustworthy friend who is helping out.
she obviously has loneliness issues she shouldnt have bought that palace in calabasas it shoulda been an apartment in la or something but i shes definitely smart not to fall off the wagon what happened in the past will stay in the past forever

yikes…some Brit hostility going on. She’s prolly just over that whole scene. I know I am and I just turned 30. She’s been partying for forever and the whole thing gets really tired after a while. It would be awkward to be in a bar sober and not to be able to mingle freely. I can’t be in a bar sober…just goes to show how fun they really are if you can’t be in them sober!

clubbing isn’t fun when you can’t drink or do a line. i’m sure for an addict being in that environment must cause lots of triggers. and it isn’t as fun going with say a guy like jason who doesn’t dance with a group of girlfriends. she had fun when she went with her backup dancers back in dallas.
as far as them not dating, i don’t think i’d be too happy with my boyfriend if he kept leaving me to go hang out with britney spears and her family, agent or no agent. plus she’s even dressing like him now with the flannel…it’s a sign. lol
I agree I worry about what will happen once the conservatorship is over but right now as a fan i’m enjoying the peacefulness of it. i keep hearing rumors that the tour will get extended until the end of the year. i sure hope so.
not being a hater or anything, but whats happened to Brit’s face? is it just me or has it being changing negatively during the past couple of years? now it looks kind off starting to sag, and she has a double chin, not only in that pic but in quite a few
I think it may be because of stress and her smokes…Does anyone agree with me?
I dont think its normal for a 27 year-old girl to be showing those kind of changes…

@gomez. The thing I noticed with Britney is that her face and body can change from day to day. I dont know why but she can look beautiful at 3 pm and exhausted and older just hours later. Could be the meds too, it tends to wear heavy on your moods and your face shows it.
yeah it’s definitely weird … I mean even in her crazy days her face was always gorgeous…sometimes it was a stunning contrast next to say Adnan or Sam… it was like porcelain … with those doe eyes

Medication perhaps? Bad angles? Poor hydration? Too much makeup? Lack of sleep? Smoking?
On stage it’s pretty good though.
We’ll see what happens though.

@myrthala I doubt she went for fun. I think she must have gotten paid to make an appearance or something like that. And if she did go to the club not getting paid, i doubt she did anything other than sit there and listen to the music, maybe to just get out of the hotel.
If you look at her pictures coming out, its kinda obvious that she didn’t have a good time, or else she would be looking a bit happier
I agree with gomez. She was paid to appear/otherwise she wouldnt go.
I have a simple question PoorBritney:
Do you think it would be really healthy, fun and bearable for Britney to be “surrounded by guards and family forever” ?! She is a mother of two at 27, back at the top of her career and is legally deemed “a child.” How is she ABLE to perform incessantly for months and still cannot do ANYTHING on her own free will?
I share your concern about the possible return to bad influences once she’s free, I’m really afraid too. But I think there should be a healthier balance: Keep her family and guards at a safe but protective distance, so that they support her if she needs help, but DON’T keep her prisoner.

No I don’t think it would be healthy for her to be babysat forever. I realize that this conservatorship is meant to help her begin HER new life and I just hope and pray that she can.
What concerns me is the mania. I know I mention that a lot but it’s a beast with its own rules and is very hard to manage unless you remain 1000% percent committed.
I fear when the conservatorship is up, and she is free to do what she wants and there is no one there making her take meds or go to bed at a good time, etc, that she will slowly drift back into bad habits w/out even realizing it and then maybe start missing med doses here and there and were right back to 07 all over again.
I guess I love this conservatorship so much because it allows me to see her functioning normal, looking happy, working, etc even if it is artificial, as some say.
It’s like knowing your loved one is in rehab. At least you can sleep at night knowing where they are, and that they are in good hands versus wondering if they are out of control drunk somewhere or going to kill someone in a car accident. It lifts the worry. Make sense?

I forgot to address one of your main questions about her being well enough to perform but not be on her own. This is a very strange dynamic for people to grasp. They often say “if she is well enough to make millions and perform on stage every night, why cant she be in charge of her own life”.
To me, the answer is simple. Because she is being guided and medically supervised and counseled, all behind the scenes and believe it or not, performing relaxes her and makes her at ease because its what she knows she is good at and sadly, its her main identity b/c its all she has done her whole life. All the other things coming at her in life are not.
I see it as the opposite. Put her on stage and with family and love and she does very well, step off and let her just live- and the anxiety, influences and overwhelming pressure take hold. I say this because the simple fact that she is still learning to cope with meds and her condition are very complicated.
Thats my opinion of it

@merve. Exactly and I just “worry” about how things may be post conservatorship.
I would like to point out that she doesn’t live with her father anymore. He moved out of her home last year around July/September time. This was confirmed when Brit/Jamie did that exclusive ok interview where she is wearing a white dress and the kids are wearing hats and are having a party outside. So yes she is able/capable of being in her home with her children and nanny, with a bodyguards in separate quarters (Jamie is only there when the kids visit). I assure you as these days, weeks, months/year have gone by the reins have been let lose. I’m sure she knows what her life was like before the cship (no kids, no family, no friends, no career and a laughing stock in the media) to what she has now e.g. her children, family, friends, career and health etc. I don’t think people give her credit!!
p.s. They left the club around 12.30pm she came off stage around 11pm so obviously she is tired that’s why she looks rough in the picture, we all do at times she is no different.
@ Miss P, all good points. Its not like her dad is hovering over her 24/7. Matter of fact you barely see him anymore.
