Britney Spears was expected to be in court today to meet with the commissioner who is overseeing her court case but shortly after that was reported, TMZ said the meeting had been called off for too much media attention.
A bit later they rereported that Britney did in deed reschedule her court case for next Friday, per the demands of the commissioner who wants to see dollface in person to see how she’s doing.
Britney was then spotted smiling, shopping and wearing a bra. She sure looked dressed for court but no word yet if it was in deed called off because of a media ruckus or other reasons.
Just don’t show these pictures to the judge.
The bra is the only reason I think she didn’t plan to blow it off cause well we all know how much she hates wearing bra’s. LOL I love Yay I don’t have to go to court smile.

I have 42 DD’s and a bra that’s too small like bites into your boobs and it’s so freaking painful. Either way I just want to take her ass shopping so badly, cause her style is so jacked.

Just curious, how many sick children have you helped using whatever resources you have available? I’m not suggesting that you’re a famous celebrity with the capacity to reach millions of people, but I’m also willing to bet you’re just sitting at home on your ass like most of us, even though you COULD be out doing something good and charitable with your spare time.
I do all that I can anytime I can. I wish right now she’d come out on her website and say she donated money to haiti or something but all I ever see is her spending money on herself. @Hugo. You have to remember that Britney has had a very sheltered existence and she’s learning to cope with her fame every day of her life. She’s got her own issues she’s trying to recover from much less take on a cause. She’s still very young and has lots to overcome.
I saw today that Gaga is donating 100% of her proceeds to Haiti but she’s new in the game. Britney did a lot in the beginning too. Give her time to help herself first.

Do you not remember the money she donated to the school in NY, the children’s hospital in miami or the women’s thing she did to help moms with addiction/mental health products, and the time she went to teach dance to kids? There was also some court documents that came out that stated Britney gave money from her OWN PERSONAL bank account and charged it to her Credit Card.
Just because it isn’t being reported like people report on her relationship doesn’t mean she doesn’t do it. Plenty of celebs use giving away money for PR reasons ( a large number of them). However, there are ones who do it anonymously, which i think is better anyway.

After reading everyone’s comments on this post, I think everyone makes valid points…even Hugo, though it’s coming off as harsh. I think it would be really good for Britney if she got out of her own head and gave back more. That’s good for anyone that’s going through hard times. That being said…she’s had one hell of a two years and PB is right…give her some time to get herself back to health and then she can help others. It’s true, she seems very sheltered, and I think the people around her probably continue to try to shelter and protect her from stress as much as possible. If she is going to give more and take on causes, it needs to be because she wants to and feels it’s something that is right given everything she is blessed with. She needs to grow and mature and I’m sure as time goes on she may take on causes publicly. But right now, it’s about getting healthy and remaining stable.
All that being said….we can’t assume she doesn’t make non-publicized donations…
I truly hate these donations beeing a PR tool. I think it’s great if you donate and are capable of keeping it to yourself. That’s what it should be all about.
@ Hugo… You must have missed out on the Britney Spears’ Camp for underprivileged children, or the hundreds of thousands that she donated to the city of New Orleans after Katrina, or the fact that she was the grand marshal of one of our Mardi Gras parades that year, she came and spent the day with people who lost everything in the floods, or the school in New York that now has a Britney Spears Music Program, or the children’s hospital in Miami that she stopped by and donated a lot of $ to during her Circus tour. Lady Gaga put HER name on a shirt that shes selling to “help’ Haiti. Its just really convenient that the whole world will know that Lady Gaga did so much help. We will never know to what extent she does or does not donate, because she is not an attention whore. Also, when the court released documents of what she was spending every month, charitable donations were listed on her credit cards.

I will say this about court. Whether it was Britney’s fault, Pepaws’ fault or simply rescheduled for reasons unknown to us, it was the worst day ever for her to be out shopping, smiling and getting her nails done. Many people are taking it as a slap in the face of justice and thinking she believes she’s above the law.
Of all days to be smiling, talking and shopping. It’s like telling the judge you cant make Jury Duty then you’re spotted having lunch and shopping.

@Daria I’m confused as to why you don’t think she’s as rich since her marriage? Sure lawyers and things like that get expensive especially for custody and divorce, but it’s just pocket change for celebrities, and same goes for staying at hotels and going to drugstores and gas stations every night.

Even when she wasn’t working she was bringing in 700 000 K a month, and I’m sure the fund her Brother is taking care of is for an insane amount too, and I think the Circus Tour recuperated any losses she did have in 07′. She had “earnings of over $35 million dollars in 2009, the 2nd-highest earning young musician of the year.”
