First I read that Lynne Spears was devastated when she saw how bad her daughter, Britney had gotten in recent months, to which I said bullshit! The whole world knew how bad it had gotten.
Then this… InTouch weekly reports Mama Spears came out, at much prodding.
Britney Spears‘ lawyers from the firm of Trope and Trope were set to go before a judge on February 4 and explain why they wanted to discontinue representing their famous client in her custody battle. But last week, the firm canceled those plans.
So why did Brit’s lawyers have a change of heart? According to an insider, a lawyer from the firm called Britney’s parents, Lynne and Jamie, and gave them an ultimatum – they had to help intervene with their daughter or the firm was off the case.
One attorney told Lynne that Britney was a danger to herself and would never get her kids back if she didn’t clean up her act. They were the reason Lynne finally came out here again.”Also last week, Britney’s lawyers secured a new psychiatrist, who reportedly triggered the pop star’s admittance on Wednesday night to UCLA Medical Center to undergo psychiatric evaluation.
So basically, Trope and Trope saved Britney’s life. Not her family. That explains too why I saw Adnan sitting in the car with Lynne Spears. She’s just an idiot. if that were my mother, she would have chased his ugly ass all the way down the street. Not Lynne. She drives him to the hospital with her!! STUPID WOMAN.
If it were MY mother, she would have complained about what a pain in the neck I am and said there were professionals on hand to deal with it, but she hoped I’d come for Christmas dinner.

Okay, had a think about this. Dysfunctional families aside (and I do believe the Spears are dysfunctional!), I don’t think Lynn is actually THAT bad. I think she’s just totally clueless and in way, WAY over her head. She probably had no damned idea what the hell to do, and she had a knocked up sixteen-year-old (whose story she had to sell to a tabloid *roll eyes*) and she was just totally without clue.
When the law firm contacted her, they gave her some clues and means to act, and she appears to have done that.
I don’t think she’s anywhere near as uncaring as people think. I think she’s just as uneducated and dumb as the rest of the Spears clan. They’re country, y’all!
